Procedure and costs of mortgage deletion from the real estate cadastre

After repaying the housing loan, it is necessary to collect and submit documentation to the Real Estate Cadastre Service to remove the burden, i.e., the registered mortgage on the property from the property list.

To delete the mortgage from the property list, it is necessary to obtain the required documentation and submit it to the competent Cadastre Service in the city/municipality where the property is located.

The competent Real Estate Cadastre Service requires:

1. a request for the deletion of the mortgage entry filled out with the prescribed content;

2. a document for the deletion of the mortgage confirming that the claim of the mortgage debtor – the bank has ceased and gives consent for the deletion of the mortgage (deletion permit).



The deletion permit is prepared in written form with the signature of the authorized person certified by a public notary or the basic court in cities where public notaries have not been appointed, until the appointment of public notaries;
